Optimizations from Arch: The default kernel now leverages AutoFDO for enhanced performance. Profiling is conducted across various workloads, including sysbench, CachyOS Benchmarker, Git operations, and more.
While initial gains might be modest due to current limitations, we anticipate significant improvements with upcoming LLVM 19 support and refined profiles.
RustiCL Integration: RustiCL has replaced the default OpenCL driver in Mesa, delivering improved performance and compatibility.
Enhanced Scheduler Management: The kernel-manager now utilizes scx_loader for seamless scheduler switching and ensures proper configuration through a dedicated file.
