Mistral Now Offers EU Data Processing and Priority Access — But Both Come With Important Limits

What the EU Data Processing Tier Actually Covers
Data is stored and processed only in EU-based servers. Mistral confirms that no data leaves the European Economic Area. This includes model inputs, outputs, and any metadata generated during API usage.
But the guarantee only applies to specific endpoints. Not all Mistral models or services are covered under this tier. The company has not published a full list of which endpoints qualify.
Key limitation: The EU data processing option requires a paid subscription. It is not available on the free tier or for trial users. Businesses seeking compliance must budget for this additional cost.
What Priority API Access Gets You — and What It Does Not
