Hello Gnoppix Supporter,

I have some exciting news regarding our services and a few important house-cleaning items to ensure everything runs smoothly for you.

1. New Free Mail Service on Gnoppix.me

We are officially transitioning our mail services, and I’m thrilled to announce that Gnoppix Mail is now a FREE service for everyone!

  • Action Required: If you are still using the old mail service on member.gnoppix.org, please move your account to the gnoppix.me domain.
  • Migration Support: If you have an urgent need for your old @member.gnoppix.org account, please contact me directly.
  • Security First: To set up full PGP encryption for your new account, check out our guide: How to use Gnoppix Mail with full encryption or visit gnoppix.me.
  • Legacy User Access: For our existing users, I am hereby granting SMTP/IMAP access to those who need it. If you require this special access for your application or usecases, please contact me directly.

2. Global AI Server & Kubernetes Transition

I am currently working on a new Global AI API Server. This infrastructure is built for worldwide coverage with minimal latency, ensuring you get the fastest response times for your projects.

To support this high-performance service, we will be switching to a new Kubernetes architecture within the next 2–3 weeks.

Important Note for API Users:

  • Once we move to the new architecture, you will need to order new API keys.
  • Please wait for further instructions before taking action. I will post another update once the system is ready for you to generate your new keys.
